On April 17, 2012 an awkward man and almost equally awkward woman met to go bowling after exchanging pleasantries and then phone numbers via an online dating site. As you can imagine, this was a night of very awkward conversation, tasty pizza, and terrible bowling scores. However, as time went on, the meetings of this man and woman became less awkward, until they eventually started using the “L” word, moved in together, and made the ultimate commitment of hamster adoption.
A marriage proposal was made (and promptly accepted) on October 17, 2013 after a late dinner of exceptionally delicious pot roast. Plans were made: venues were visited, bridesmaids were given proposals of their own, bridal expos were attended, colors were chosen.
In mid-January 2014, Sarah received a phone call that threw a bit of a wrench into the planning process: a job offer in Dallas, TX. After careful consideration, Tony & Sarah packed up their belongings and the aforementioned hamster, said goodbye, and (with much help from family & friends) moved to Dallas 10 weeks later.
The happy couple decided to keep the wedding at home in Illinois, and with the help of many generous volunteers, the planning has continued with only a few hiccups!
TL;DR: LOVE!
